Because CFA is dedicated to its patient needs, we are open seven days a week, providing care when you need it.
We all know that getting pregnant is partly about timing, and that the reproductive system is not set to ‘banker’s hours’. The appropriate time for care can occur on any day of the week, and a fertility clinic dedicated to providing the highest likelihood of success for a couple must be able to provide care when that time arises, not when it is convenient for them.
The staff and physicians at Connecticut Fertility Associates are available 7 days per week, 363 days each year, to provide testing and treatment, including artificial inseminations, follicle growth monitoring, and IVF procedures whenever they will be most effective. The window of success for some treatments can be very narrow, and the difference between a pregnancy and another unsuccessful attempt can be significantly altered by the timing of procedures.
The IVF lab at CFA, located at our Bridgeport/Trumbull office, functions daily, 46 weeks out of the year, and performs IVF procedures based on what is optimal for you. You will never be treated with prolonged hormonal therapy to make your attempt more convenient for the clinic’s schedule, disrupting your normal ovulatory pattern. Our lab undergoes preventative maintenance and strict quality assurance testing for three weeks in July, and three weeks at the end of December, but is available every other week of the year for patient care.
