Dr. Doyle and CT Fertility were featured in late May 2014 in a special program on the very popular TV channel "France 5". The five-part "Surrogacy in the USA" series was aired as part of the daily program called "Les Maternelles" (the nursery) about children and health topics.
The creator of the program, the French journalist Claire Williot, explained that "since surrogacy is not allowed in France, we were interested to show what is possible to do in America, and how families live this experience."
The program follows Dr. Doyle and the CT Fertility team as they perform the various screenings and treatments that are part of the IVF and egg donation process. It also shows a couple consulting about surrogacy with attorney Victoria Ferrara of Worldwide Surrogacy Specialists. It follows Suzanne, a prospective surrogate during her screening and through the transfer, and documents a Skype meeting with Fabian and Mario, her prospective parents in Belgium. (As it turns out nine days later Suzanne had a positive pregnancy test, and three weeks later Fabian and Mario's baby's heartbeat was confirmed). The program also featured a pregnant surrogate meeting the intended fathers she is helping, and one who was meeting the family she helped create.
