CT Fertility Announces Donations to Charity Marking the Birth of Over 300 Babies in 2011

The numbers are now in and CT Fertility assisted in the conception and successful birth of 318 babies in 2011! Since it pledged to donate $100 for every baby it helped create over the past year, CT Fertility is now proud to award over $30,000 to three organizations chosen for their long commitment and support for the well being and safety of families of all kinds worldwide.

CT Fertility is featured in Portuguese TV show demystifying the taboo surrounding gestational surrogacy in Portugal

CT Fertility was featured in another TV story on Portuguese channel TVI24 demystifying the existing taboo in Portugal surrounding gestational surrogacy. The clip is mostly in English (after a few seconds at the beginning). The crew filmed an egg retrieval and the work of the clinic's embryologist as she fertilized the eggs. They interviewed Dr. Doyle, gay prospective parents and an egg donor.

Stephanie, a returning egg donor agreed to be filmed as she came in to donate her eggs at CT Fertility. She was followed through the preparation steps, the actual procedure performed by Dr. Michael Doyle, and her recovery. CT Fertility's Dr. Doyle & team are featured in "Frontline" like Portuguese TV report on USA Surrogacy

CT Fertility's Dr. Doyle and Jamie Speer, are featured in a "Frontline" style television program called Linha da Frente on USA surrogacy produced by Portugal's main TV channel. The program seeks to demystify gestational surrogacy, a proceedure that is currently illegal in Portugal. The program interviews a number of Portuguese couples who worked with a gestational surrogate to start their families as well as a four times U.S. surrogate mother, and a U.S. gay couple who had twins through surrogacy more than ten years ago.

CT Fertility launches “The Greatest Gift of All” campaign encouraging embryo donations to parents in need

Presently CT Fertility has over 3500 frozen embryos in storage. This holiday season CT Fertility is urging parents who've completed their families to reflect on their good fortunes and consider donating their unused embryos to others in need. Allowing non-anonymous donations opens the door for the first time to same-sex couples that were previously excluded.
